Everything that we decide to care for is an act of devotion of our time and energy. Most everything about having a dog is so wonderful and easy but we have to go in with the realization that there are some things that will need to be done in the properly caring for your dog. We take our dogs to the river to swim all the time. Even in the winter we make it down there and the two young ones still get in the water. They are just wild'n! Rivers are fantastic and beautiful but it also has bacteria and other fun little goodies swimming around in it. Because of this we clean our dogs ears weekly and after we go to the river. Trust me dog ear infections aren't fun for them so we do this as a preventative measure. We started with an anti bacterial one from the vet and it worked well but you had to spend quite awhile trying to get wipe all of it out. Ari, the cocker spaniel has very cavernous ears. I think you may even hear an echo if you whisper into one. But even with wiping it still seamed to always leave a little to much dampness in there. moist and warm is a breeding ground for bacteria and yeast so I never thought it was the best and I had tried some of the shelf at our farm supply store and that one seamed to worsen things. I'm excited to let you guys know thought that I have found the one from PawTree to be an amazing set. It doesn't just have the ear wash but it has a second formula to finish up with that helps to leave the ear canal dry. Now that is half the battle right there! I have found that some things are worth the price you pay for it if it helps in the long run. And this product is one of them! If you have dogs in your care this is great to have on hand for your dogs of all breeds. This product is the denotation of working smarter not harder. I've posted a link below to access PawTree if you are interested.
